To My Classmates,

Much has happened in our lives this year. My wife Barb retired in January from her job and her real estate business. We were able to move to Ohio (near Columbus) to be near our children in March, and we are enjoying our new situation very much. It was difficult leaving the house we lived in for 41 years and leaving our friends and family behind, but we are here and we love it.

We are able to be involved in our grandson's life since we live only two miles from them. It may sound strange, but after only two months, it feels as though we never lived anywhere else.

This reunion is a milestone and is cause to celebrate. But in the midst of the celebration, take a moment to remember those we lost along the way.
