Nancy Ann Schweickhard Larson

I went to work in the Claims Office at Allstate Insurance Company in December, 1965. Worked in the Claims Office and then promoted to Comprehensive & Towing Examiner until 1972. I then moved to Coon Rapids, Minnesota in October, 1972, and married my first husband, who I met in Allstate Ins. Claims. We lived in Coon Rapids for five years where I worked in Blaine State Bank & Spring Lake Park Bank as a loan officer secretary and at Edina Realty as a secretary.

In June, 1977, I had my daughter Bradilynn Isabelle Swanson. In August, 1977, we moved to Ashland, Wisconsin (where my first husband was from) and I worked from 1980 to 1983 at Larson Picture Frame as secretary to the Sales Manager and also owner of the business (Roger Larson – no relation). I then worked at The Larson Agency (insurance, real estate and H & R Block office) in December 1983 to 1995 as secretary and office manager. Both my husband and myself retired in June, 1995. I was divorced from my first husband in 1985 and remarried my “boss and owner” Don W. Larson in November, 1987, in Hawaii.

Don has five children, twelve grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. I have the one daughter and two grandchildren. Don’s youngest daughter and family live in Australia and his oldest granddaughter and family live in Anchorage, Alaska, so they are spread out all over the world!!!!!!!!

We live in a beautiful home on 12 acres and we wintered in Sun City West, Arizona, from 1997 to 2006 and moved back permanently in March, 2006. We have had some fabulous trips over the years to Kauai, Bermuda, Australia, Scandinavian countries, New York City (twice), across the United States to Washington/Oregon and across Canada back home.

My hobbies include gardening with my husband, antiquing, cross stitch and quilting, and most of all, my time with my two adorable grandsons and our cute/lovable doggie named Skuffy (West Highland Terrier).
