Susan Peck
Since 1965 have lived/worked in several places in
several states. Visited a few countries. Australia my favorite,
Ireland someday.
1965-1985, enjoyed many fun, interesting
occupations for 20 years: picking corn at Lynn Gardner’s
family farm; Thru-way stop lunch counter person; nurse’s aide;
keypuncher; bookkeeper; bank teller; pari-mutual clerk; hot walker;
etc., etc.
1985-2011, priviledged to practice a golden,
priceless second career in nursing for 26 years.
Had several marriages along the way. I forget
the number.
In the early 90’s, gained a new perspective
on life and living due to a four month hospitalization for
complications secondary to an automobile accident.
Best accomplishment inspite of myself , remains
my 41 year old son Cole Schroeder, a fine man who works and
homesteads in Texas with Heather, his wife of 10 years and their
sweet dog Noodles.
Consider myself lucky indeed to have had such a
good life, good family, good friends, no regrets.
Since Spring 2013, enjoying the time that remains
in sunny, crazy Florida where everyone pretty much fits in.
